Celebrate National Pi Day with a Free Puzzle
Every year on March 14th, math lovers around the world celebrate National Pi Day. The date (3/14) represents the first digits of π (pi) — the famous mathematical constant used to measure circles. Pi is the ratio of a circle’s circumference to its diameter, and its decimal digits continue forever without repeating.
To make the celebration a little more fun, we created a free Pi Day word search puzzle with a twist.
A Word Search… With Missing Vowels
This puzzle uses a variation called “Missing Vowels.” Instead of seeing the full words, the vowels have been removed, leaving only the consonants behind.
For example:
Circle → CRCL
Radius → RDS
Diameter → DMTR
Your challenge is to figure out the original Pi-related word and then find it hidden in the grid.
It’s a fun brain workout that combines word solving and pattern recognition, making the puzzle a little more challenging than a traditional word search.

Why Pi Day?
Pi has fascinated mathematicians for thousands of years. The ancient Greek mathematician Archimedes made some of the earliest accurate calculations of pi, and today the constant is used in everything from engineering and physics to space exploration and computer science.
Even Albert Einstein was born on March 14, making the day even more special for science fans.
